Location:

The Orange Sheep Campervan Park is a small purpose built campervan park set in native rainforest of Franz Josef Glacier, directly opposite the Glacier Hot Pools and Franz Josef Glacier Guides base, the departure point for Heli hikes and the Ice Explorer.

You will find our camper van sites at 64 Cron Street, Franz Josef, directly opposite the Glacier Base building. If our primary office at the site is closed, you can check in at our secondary office 400 metres away at The Terrace, 15 Cowan Street, Franz Josef.

Facilities

The spacious campervan sites back onto native forest, with forest hedges between each campervan site, providing you with the rainforest experience in a great location.

Each powered campervan site offers electricity and water, campervan guests also receive a free wifi allocation. Facilities include hot showers, flushing toilets, a campervan dump station and covered Barbeque area where guests can sit and relax after a busy day of Glacier activities, walks or just relaxing in Franz Josef. There also are two washing machines and two dryers.
